I just wanted to thank you!!!! I purchased your Ellipse Mix antenna from Menard’s and it by far surpasses all other outdoor antennas I have purchased in the past!!! I live about 60+ miles from Toledo, Ohio broadcast stations and all channels come in crystal clear, even without the amplifier plugged in!!! It’s nice to know there are still companies that put out an outstanding product at a very affordable price!!! Well Done Televes, Well Done!!!

Pulling in 3 Markets with DAT BOSS 149884, Dual Ellipse, and SmartKom

I drastically improved my antenna setup using the DAT BOSS 149884 and 2 Ellispe 148883's (the VHF reflectors are removed for side mounting) combined with the Televes SmartKom. This pulls in stations from 3 distant TV markets from 60, 77 and 88 miles plus locals. While a rotor is no longer needed for this setup, it remains installed because I sometimes use the 149884 for DXing which is awesome.Thanks Televes!

2 Televes Antennas and SmartKom Success Story – 25 to 143 channels

In the past I have installed and eventually returned antennas, mast amplifiers and combiners from many different well-known brands that got me between 11 and 25 channels at my location inRiverside, CA. As you can see below from the RabbitEars.info site, I have 7 channels with “Fair” signal strength and 2 with “Good” signal strength. All of the towers in Los Angeles are blocked by the hills in Norco for most antennas, so previously I had to cross out all of the channels in Los Angeles, Ventura, San Fernando, and Van Nuys. I recently purchased a 32.5” J-Pole and installed it at the peak of my roof on the fascia board with the Televes Ellipse Mix at the top pointed towards Los Angeles, the Televes Dinova Boss Mix in the middle pointed towards San Bernardino, and the SmartKom at the bottom of the pole. An installer told me that tilting front of the Ellipse Mix antenna up using the adjustment pivot built into its mounting bracket would help me pick up signals that were going over the top of the Norco hill.
