Discover the very easy and fast installation of the Televes INNOVA BOSS MIX antenna (P/N 130383).
The Televes INNOVA BOSS MIX is a smart HDTV Indoor antenna indicated for urban and metro areas, where moderate to strong signal levels are present (an indoor antenna such as the INNOVA is not recommended for weak signal locations). It’s the optimal antenna for homes where outdoor installation is not desired.

INSTALLATION

🔸 Antenna installation 👉 1:05

1️⃣ Connect the coaxial cable between the antenna and the TV 👉 1:09
2️⃣ Power up the antenna 👉 1:46
*Two options:*
2.1. Power the antenna from a USB port in your TV using the provided USB cable 👉 1:53
2.2. Power the antenna using the included USB power adaptor into a household power outlet 👉2:09
The green LED will light up indicating that the antenna is receiving power, otherwise double check the connections.

3️⃣ Set up and antenna pointing 👉 2:23

3.1. After finding a good location for the antenna, extend and aim the elements in different directions to optimize VHF performance 👉 2:29

💡 With indoor reception small changes in location can dramatically affect the quality of signal and number of channels received. It is recommended to try different locations and examine the results obtained. Locate the direction of the TV broadcast towers and try to place the antenna close to an outside wall on that side of the house or near a window if possible. Extend the elements to improve VHF reception. Positioning the antenna in the direction of the TV towers will increase its performance, the number of channels received, and the stability of the pictures.

The DINOVA BOSS MIX is an state of the art metro/suburban range over the air TV antenna that automatically adapts its gain in real time to optimize the reception of television signals, ensuring the optimum level of signal is delivered at all times.

1️⃣ Installing the mount ➡️ 1:38
Alternatively, the Dinova can be installed on any other suitable mount such as a mast, balcony railing, or similar.

2️⃣ Installing the antenna ➡️ 2:10
The antenna clamp has two perpendicular slots, one for horizontal polarization and the other for vertical polarization. TV signals in the US are horizontally polarized, so typically the antenna should be installed in the horizontal position as shown in the video.

3️⃣ Prepare the coaxial cable and connect to the antenna ➡️ 3:00
*The supplied twist-on coax connector and weather boot are convenience items for customers not equipped with the knowledge and tools to install professional self-sealing coax connectors that require a cable stripper and coax connector crimping tool for proper installation. Some customers may also choose to purchase long lengths of coax cable with connectors pre-installed.
Regardless of the choice make sure the connector is properly prepared and protected from moisture ingress.*

4️⃣If there are any VHF channels available in your market (RF7-RF13) extend the metal elements for increased VHF reception ➡️ 3:54

The Televes ELLIPSE MIX is a smart over the air outdoor antenna for medium to long-range receiving scenarios like towns and rural.
This state of the art antenna includes a best-in-class very low-noise T-Force preamplifier. In addition, real-time automatic gain control optimizes reception and ensures the optimal signal level is delivered at all times.

1️⃣ Attach VHF reflector extension to main assembly 👉 2:13
Check the bolt is properly seated into the metal tubing
2️⃣ Insert UHF directors into main assembly 👉 3:09
Make sure you insert the open end into de the clamp
3️⃣ Insert UHF reflector into reflector self-locking clamp 👉 3:50
Make sure you insert the open end into de the clamp
4️⃣ Cable preparation and routing through the reflector 👉 4:11

The supplied twist-on coax connector and weather boot are convenience items for customers not equipped with the knowledge and tools to install professional self-sealing coax connectors that require a cable stripper and coax connector crimping tool for proper installation. Some customers may also choose to purchase long lengths of coax cable with connectors pre-installed.
Regardless of the choice make sure the connector is properly prepared and protected from moisture ingress.

5️⃣ Install dipole assembly 👉 5:13
Check that the dipole assembly is fully seated confirmed by checking that the plastic bayonet locks on each side are fully seated into the main antenna body
6️⃣ Insert UHF reflector into reflector self-locking clamp 👉 5:55
Make sure you insert the open end into de the clamp
7️⃣ Insert VHF reflectors into reflector self-locking clamp 👉 6:23
Make sure you insert the open end into de the clamp
8️⃣ Attach antenna to the mast 👉 6:46
Secure coax cable to the mast with weather resistant wire ties or electrical tape after the antenna has been adjusted

In addition, it has been completely redesigned and optimized for the new US UHF Repack frequency band under 608MHz.
